Parakeet Buccaneers is a new franchise in its First ever Tournament. Mr. Dennis Latiff, one of the owner’s, wanted a swashbuckling name for the team and he came up with the Buccaneers. The Franchise Head Coach is Mr Amin Forgenie (CWI Level III Certified with Distinction). His only stint in this DREAM XI Competition was in the 2nd Edition as Head Coach of the Tiger Tanks Cocrico Cavaliers who came 3rd in that Edition. Former National Under 19 Coach and has been blessed with numerous titles locally in various spheres of cricket. The manager is Mr. Ronnie Bickramdass, the former manager of the Steelpan Players who placed 3^rd in the 4^th Edition of the Dream11 Trinidad T10 Blast. Since they are a new team, it will be remiss to not mention the fact that they have not won any titles as yet but it is definitely one of their objectives. One short coming this team is currently encountering, is the time of matches that may not allow for much spectator support due to work and other daily commitments. For a new team and management, the journey has been short thus far, but the team is focused on achieving clearly defined goals in which all team members are determined to achieve them together and be very successful not just at present but in the future. The club’s motto is “Jump on board and sail to victory.” The managerial staff are motivated by seeing their players improve not just as players but positive role models in their communities and as inspiring young cricketers. The players’ inspiration comes from an inert hunger to achieve success.

Their goals include, playing a positive and exciting brand of cricket which will produce favorable results, to create the platform for players to further establish themselves as a professional cricketer not only in Trinidad but regional and even international, to progress in their existing cricket career, thereby making themselves more marketable and attractive to all Franchises. The team’s vision is to create an environment for players to feel comfortable, which will allow them to perform to best of their ability. The long-term goal is to be a successful franchise and contribute to the professional growth and development of new skills among team members. Some top players that are a part of this team include, Kjorn Ottley, who is an exciting Top Order Left Hand Batter who recently Captained Central Sports Club to the 2023 TTCB T20 Title, Evin Lewis: A destructive left-hand Batter, one of the most feared Opening Batters in the Western Hemisphere, with a wealth of International and IPL Experience and Jayden Seales: West Indies International, Right Arm Fast Bowler who is just returning from Knee Surgery. He is excited to get back into competitive cricket and showcase his all-round ability. Moreover, in past tournaments Evin Lewis, Leonardo Julien, Christopher Vincent and Ramesh Brijlal have all done very well and it is expected that they will all perform consistently for this new franchise and make it very successful.
